The scope of the booklet is confined to introducing <em>sounds and letters of Qur&#8217;anic Arabic<\/em> and the common grammatical types of word, such as noun, verb, preposition, etc., readers of the Holy Scripture may come across during their reading. The examples used in the booklet are mainly derived from <em>Juz\u2019 \u2018Amma <\/em>(Part 30), the final part of the Qur&#8217;a:n. Most of the <em>Suras <\/em>(chapters) in this part are characteristically short and henceforth easy to memorise. Also, they are frequently used by many Muslims in their daily prayers.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The booklet is organised in 4 chapters. In Chapter 1 we introduce <em>sounds <\/em>of <em>Qur&#8217;anic Arabic<\/em> and how they are pronounced. In Chapter 2 we deal with <em>letters <\/em>of <em>Qur&#8217;anic Arabic<\/em> and how they are joined and talk about other written symbols employed in the alphabet. Chapter 3 tackles words in <em>Qur&#8217;anic Arabic<\/em> and introduces some grammatical classes of words illustrating them with examples from the Qur&#8217;a:n; this includes pronouns, nouns, adjectives, verbs and prepositions.
